Recommendations by Papuan People's Consultative Assembly and Indigenous people of Papua (14 Jun 2010)
PAPUAN PEOPLE`S CONSULTATIVE ASSEMBLY & INDIGENOUS PEOPLE OF PAPUA -Recommendations. In accordance with the statement of the Papuan People's Consultative Assembly and Indigenous Papuan groups that Special Autonomy Law 21/2001 which has been in force for nine years, has FAILED, the following recommendations were agreed:

Indonesia aims for further military ties with US (10 Jun 2010)
Reuters - Indonesia and the United States said on Thursday they had signed a defence framework arrangement to pave the way for further cooperation in military training, defence procurement and maritime security. However, a U.S. ban on military training since the 1990s for Indonesia's notorious special forces unit Kopassus remains in place, a U.S. embassy spokesman said.

Why does Indonesian democracy stop at Papua? (9 Jun 2010)
